GENERAL REGULATIONS

All passengers except children under four not occupying a seat must be in possession of a travel document (ticket purchased on the bus or magnetic card), which they will be required to show to the driver or inspector when asked to do so.

Prices of the services provided by GLOBAL SALCAI UTINSA are established between stops at the beginning and end of a fare zone. The fare for a journey between stops that are not directly at the beginning and end of a fare zone is calculated from the fare zones immediately before the start location and immediately after the end location of the journey.

Fares for all journeys on GLOBAL services are calculated by multiplying euros by passenger/km. This means that different rates may apply to different routes.

ONBOARD TICKET PURCHASES

Tickets are paid for on the bus when using the service in accordance with current fare schedules. When paying on board, passengers with a special EP discount ID card issued by GLOBAL SALCAI UTINSA identifying them as over 70 years of age shall receive a discount of 50% when they show their discount card on boarding.

PRE-PAID TICKETS

Pre-paid tickets are bought in the form of magnetic cards from any GLOBAL SALCAI UTINSA ticket agent. Magnetic cards are for specific journeys. The type of discount applicable depends on the type of card passengers are eligible for.

Joint use of AB cards is permitted provided that the cardholder using this method of payment is the last to pay for the service. Joint use of cards that require presentation of discount ID cards issued by GLOBAL is permitted in the terms outlined on the ID cards.

DISCOUNT ID CARDS

GLOBAL issues individual ID cards that entitle passengers to certain discounts when paying on board the bus or allow them to purchase and use the corresponding magnetic card (Especial EP).

Persons over 70 years are entitled to discounts but do not require magnetic cards.

Discount ID cards can be obtained from the Customer Information offices at the San Telmo Bus Station, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

When using individual discount ID cards, cardholders must show ID (passport or similar) when required to do so.

 

CARNÉ GLOBAL PLUS (GLOBAL PLUS DISCOUNT ID CARD)

Requirements:

AT THE GEXCO OFFICE (San Telmo Bus Station)

Fill in the application form and have your photo taken on the spot. The ID card will be given to you immediately.
